Land for New Shelter Purchased

We have land!  On August 28, 2012, we closed on the purchase of 4 acres on AEDC Road in Decherd, TN. This new location will be more convenient for the residents of Franklin County, and will help us to attract more visitors, adopters, volunteers, and community involvement. Our 500th Rescue Waggin' Pet!

Christmas Donation from Local Children

Marissa and Rocky Davis brought gift bags full of toys and treats for the dogs and cats at Animal Harbor! Marissa is 7 years old and Rocky is 6.  While they were here they played with our cats and the small dogs in the office.

July Rescue Waggin' Transport

Our third Rescue Waggin' transport took place early Tuesday morning, July 27. We sent 15 puppies to the Huron Valley shelter in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Seven German Shepherd puppies all bathed and ready to go.

The truck is ready to drive off into the sunrise, and Amber is happy to have another successful transport completed.
